Sundays in the city

Posted on: Thursday, May 7, 2015

Those last few days have been heavenly in the city! In classic NYC fashion we moved from winter right onto summer and we’ve been blessed with several days where temperatures reached 30°c!
It felt so good to be sleeping with the windows wide open again (btw it’s crazy how quiet it can be right off broadway at night). Also, is there anything cuter than babies just dressed in light onesies all day? Those munchable little toes and squishy thighs!
So last weekend we waited in line at shake shack for 30minutes (surprisingly not too bad for a Sunday) and took everything with us to the park – yum! I always loved how everybody treats central park as if it’s their own backyard with all those chairs, hammocks, picnics and BABIES! Seriously, sooo many babies and everyone is just so nice and friendly so you always end up meeting new people and make new baby friends. Ironically we’ve always been so much more outside, enjoying the sun in NYC than on our very own rooftop in Vienna. I guess we just like to move around and do some people watching when the weather is nice :D
This was Novas first picnic in the park and she was so happy all day long. So much to see and explore while still being able to have some milk snacks along the way. Here’s to many more of those relaxing summer days with you Baby Nova!
