Hey! Big news! We’re counting our final days in NYC, before we’re crossing the big pond again, and move back to Austria. As sad as we are to leave so many good friends & memories in NYC, we’re also beyond excited for this new chapter of our lives. While NYC is obviously the greatest f*** city on earth, I feel super grateful to return to the most livable and beautiful one! There are so many things we look forward to in Vienna (Nova will have her OWN room?! I will have a DISHWASHER?! Daycare WON’T cost 3k, Austrian FOOD and WINE…) and after two years, this truly feels like the right step and an exciting one nonetheless!
Looking at the past couple of years, we seem to get itchy feet every two years and so far we both don’t see us moving to the ‘burbs and owning a little white fenced house. Let’s see when that might change or where the next adventure awaits ;)
Right now, we’re busy trying to cross off as many things as possible on our NYC bucket list, between working, packing boxes, and spending time with friends.
What else is new? Nova turned 16 months (such a fun age right now!), my hair turned white, then PINK and then white again (I loved the pink so much that I will definitely do it again – unfortunately it only lasts a couple of weeks). My husband visited India and completely shaved his head as a surprise (it looked great!!). Nova and I took a short trip to Germany where she got terribly sick for the first time, we visited Central Park Zoo (it’s lovely! Why have I never been before?!), beautiful Jule had her Baby shower, we visited the Guggenheim, spend lots of time on the great lawn and in Riverside Park (unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating these days). Here’s a little picture round-up of the last couple of weeks! Now back to #bucketlistnyc
