2015 was easily the best year of our lives! Words can’t describe how much joy Nova has brought into our lives and although it always sounds like such a cliché, it’s hard to remember what life without baby felt like. Of course, our big Californian Roadtrip was a highlight in 2015! Read More >
Hey there! Remember me? Should we pretend this awkward blog silence over the last couple of months (whah!) didn’t happen or just acknowledge the fact that motherhood plus blogging don’t go so well together for me? I have no idea how all you other blogging mommas do this and I’m probably just too lazy or still value sleep > blogging. And showers, and coffee, and food…
Anyways, I still have a lot of great ideas for new posts so let’s just hope that all these posts WILL happen eventually ;)
Let’s start today with a little update on what kept us busy over this summer and most importantly how our epic two months road trip went! Get ready for seemingly endless rambling about this & that plus 63826157 pictures or stop reading now:

In a couple of days we’ll be leaving NYC for a two months family vacation. Still feels surreal and of course NOTHING is packed so far. I managed to procrastinate all preparations with this blogpost though. We sublet the apartment here in Manhattan and first go to see family in Germany for a couple of weeks before leaving for LA and our big west coast road trip. So excited!

Every time we moved to another country/city we loved the whole process of starting over, selling almost all of our belongings and beginning from scratch at a new place. Read More >
Figuring out what kind of equipment is necessary for this parenting journey can be a daunting process. Meg sums it up quite well :D
“Standing at a wall of baby products that goes on for a mile is enough to make anyone wish they remembered to take the pill that night. Just kidding (sort of).”

Seven weeks with baby and easily the best seven weeks of my life. Although it feels like ages ago that I’ve given birth, it’s somehow scary that she’ll be two months old in a couple of days! This little girl is so much fun and I seriously can’t remember what it was like before she came (I know, such a cliché)!
