Unlike in Germany, here in Vienna the toilet is almost always in a separate room from the bathroom and at our flat this has always been a veeery simply, minimalistically decorated room (fancy words for non-existing decorations).
Yesterday I realized that over the last couple of weeks we added so many tweaks here and there that I think it became a “real room” and is worth sharing. It all started with “The visual compendium of notable haircuts in Hollywood” which was a gift from the boy and which is such a fun poster to look at day after day! We also painted an old IKEA shelf in light pink and found this funny toilet-paper-holder from Pylones (I love all their stuff!) I also DIYed a white towel to light pink! (<-- accidentally washed it with red colors) and bought some flowers. Tada!
What do you think? Do you care about "bathroom decorations" at all?

Looks really great
das ist total hübsch geworden, wirklich. vorallem find ichs schön, dass die pinken akzente durch das ganze weiß so durchkommen. und pyloness ist natürlich sowieso toll
Sehr schön
Love how it looks, specially the pink table under the sink. I still dont know how I feel about the toilet being in a separate room… It is too weird. Im moving to Austria, and that is one of the things I was really annoying about while looking for an apartment. Most of them dont even have sinks!!! I dont really get it
. Gladly we found one that has one…

Probably too retro for anyone who already does not like their pink bathroom — but it illustrates some great ideas on how to play with color and pattern.
That is a pretty pink themed bathroom! I got lots of ideas with those pictures and I am thinking of inquiring for bathroom renovation services.
